During my involvement in the Gender and Social Equality program, we decided to do a pilot study in applying poverty and equality aspects in the Water Evaluation And Planning (WEAP) model. It resulted in a great project working with local partners and doing a lot of model disaggregation! This pilot is the basis for our next engagement in Bolivia with a three-year project called WATCH funded by Sida.
In the blog post below, working with SEI communication experts, we developed a picture story that includes a video of Valeriana, a local female farmer who shares her life in Marquina.
